SPL offers a wide range of high impact polystyrene grades that provide exceptional toughness, gloss and ESCR properties combined with excellent processibility making them suitable for injection moulding of hangers, toys, cutlery and gas assisted injection moulding of TV cabinets, business machines, ball pens, etc. Special HIPS grades are offered for demanding applications like refrigerator cabinet/ door liners, aesthetic styling components of air conditioners, washing machines, etc.
Supreme HIPS is available in the following Grades:
High flow HIPS grade with good toughness suitable for thin-walled parts, AC grills, toys, computer accessories, moulded refrigerator components, base material for compounding, suitable for shoe heel compound as well as gas assisted injection moulding of TV cabinets.
HIPS with improved Mechanical Properties, Impact Strength & Gloss suitable for Electrical appliances, Air Conditioner parts, AC grills, TV cabinets, sanitary ware, household products, toys, computer accessories, carrier resin for MB/compounding.
Very High Gloss HIPS. Suitable for cap layer applications for refrigerator liners.
High Gloss and High Flow HIPS. Suitable for the moulding of large components, Refrigerator parts, computer accessories, household and toys etc.
High gloss grade suitable for air conditioner & cooler grills, refrigerator components, toys, camera parts for low end models, household articles, ball pen barrels, novelties, stationery items, washing machines & small appliances.
High impact polystyrene with high gloss, high flow and good balance of toughness and strength suitable for air conditioner & cooler grills, toys, camera parts, household articles, office automation, pen barrels, novelties, Stationary items, Washing machine & small appliances.
Extrusion grade for food packaging like ice cream, yogurt, etc, and packaging of electronic items, extruded profile, general purpose sheets, formed products, extruded profile.
Excellent ESCR properties against blowing agents like cyclopentane, mixed pentanes, 141b, etc. Suitable for refrigerator door, cabinet liners & accessories, freezer liners, decorative trim, picnic cooler liners, dairy packaging like ice cream cups and lids, portion packaging, frozen food packaging, disposable medical kits.
Matte finish and good printability. Hence suitable for retail displays, indoor signs, etc.
